I am a documentary style photographer capturing the unscripted and candid moments of your story. I’ve always been a lover of cinema, movie effects, contrast, world building, and feeling drawn in as if I am inside of the story.

What I love about birth photography is its raw and candidness in nature there is no “lights, camera, action moment” no one is striking a pose (unless you want to of course lol). Not everyone gets to debut their own life story as a world premier but this —— this is your moment, you and your baby. And it’s and honor and privilege of mine to be apart of the itty bitty welcoming committee. I mean not everyone gets backstage passes but you’re considering me? Wow!

So with each birth story, I ask myself how can I make all of the precious parts relivable? If it happens to be hard —- well how can I make it feel softer to touch? How can I create a moment for you to flip back through the story and say, “I didn’t even realize” with awe in your eyes.

If you’ve ever questioned whether it is worth it to capture such a moment as this. I’m here to encourage —— Sure it is. And whether planned or unplanned this day has been eternally anticipated by your maker. As God is sovereign, He sees, He knows, He loves and He wants you and your little one. It’s my heart to illuminate that truth through my images for your family to be reminded for generations to come.
